Sprint Retrospective Meeting Minutes
Project: Learnr
Attendees: Rose, Amani, Tyler
Start time: 5:30
End time: 6:00
What went wrong?
- Did we do a good job estimating our team's velocity?
- We can do better at estimating our team’s velocity.
- Did we do a good job estimating the points (time required) for each user story?
- Yes, we assigned about 10 hours to each user story and were able to complete those we did within that time frame.
- Did each team member work as scheduled?
- Tyler was unable to complete his user story. We have yet to determine the functionality of his contribution. Amani helped him as he could but Tyler was ultimately unable to fulfill his work and Amani did a part of Tyler’s responsibilities.
What went right?
- Our conversations with the Product Owner, narrowing down the scope, creating acceptance criterions.
How to address the issues in the next sprint?
- How to improve the process?
- Have Tyler improve his debug and learning style. Would be good for him to reach out to the Team when issues arrive rather than waiting to be asked about the status of his work.
- How to improve the product?
- Be clear about the acceptance of a product, one of them being running code.
